Bitwarden for Windows

Bitwarden Inc.

What Bitwarden does.

Bitwarden stores logins and other vault items in an encrypted vault that can sync between its supported clients. Vault data is encrypted locally before it is sent to Bitwarden servers, and clients pull encrypted changes during synchronization.

When Bitwarden is useful

  • Generate and store unique account passwords
  • Access saved logins across supported devices
  • Organize secure notes and other vault items

Before choosing Bitwarden

Protect the account with a strong, unique master password and configured two-step login. Keep recovery information safe; vault synchronization does not replace account-recovery planning.

You still review the publisher’s licence, component choices, system requirements and any available free, trial or paid edition.
