1. Information InstallHub collects directly
The InstallHub website does not ask you to create an account and does not intentionally collect your name, postal address, payment details or a personal profile. InstallHub does not operate its own advertising tracker on these pages.
2. Website hosting data
As with most websites, the hosting and security providers used to deliver installhub.app may process standard request information such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and security events. This technical processing helps deliver and protect the website.
3. Your setup selection
The “Build my setup” tool stores selected application IDs in your browser's local storage. A shareable setup link places those same non-personal catalog IDs in the page URL. You can also create a local .installhub file containing the selected catalog IDs and application names. The file is downloaded to your device and imported only when you choose it inside InstallHub. The direct-open option passes the IDs locally through the installhub: protocol. Neither method submits your selection to an InstallHub server.
4. Desktop application data
Application settings and any partner-link configuration are stored locally in the Windows user-data folder. The protected internal browser uses an isolated, non-persistent session. Its cookies, cache, authentication data and website storage are cleared when that browser is closed. Files you deliberately download are retained in your Downloads/InstallHub folder.
5. Publisher websites, WinGet and downloads
When you request a publisher page, partner destination, download or WinGet installation, that third-party service receives the technical information normally sent with an internet request. Information you enter on a publisher or payment website goes to that provider under its own privacy policy, not to InstallHub.
6. Partner links
A link clearly marked as paid or partner-related may contain a referral identifier. The destination provider may record the visit and report a qualifying conversion so InstallHub can receive a commission. Partner routes are optional and are marked before you open them.
7. Permissions and children
InstallHub denies website requests for camera, microphone, location and notification permissions inside its protected browser. The service is not directed at collecting information from children.
8. Your choices and contact
You can clear the setup selection with the button on the builder page or by clearing site data in your browser. You can delete an exported setup file like any other local file. You can remove local desktop settings by uninstalling InstallHub and deleting its user-data folder. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
