OBS Studio for Windows

OBS Project

What OBS Studio does.

OBS Studio records video and streams live productions built from scenes and sources. Sources can include displays, application windows, games, webcams, capture cards, media, browser content, and audio devices, with separate controls for composition and mixing.

When OBS Studio is useful

  • Record a desktop tutorial or presentation
  • Stream a scene assembled from several sources
  • Capture gameplay with microphone and system audio

Before choosing OBS Studio

Recording and streaming settings should match the computer, capture hardware, and available upload bandwidth. Run a short test and confirm every visible source and audio channel before a live session.

How the installation route works.

InstallHub can start the exact Windows Package Manager package OBSProject.OBSStudio. You initiate the action, and the normal installer and Windows elevation prompts remain visible.

InstallHub does not replace the publisher’s installer.

You still review the publisher’s licence, component choices, system requirements and any available free, trial or paid edition.

Check the route, then make the decision.
