What LibreOffice does.
LibreOffice is a desktop office suite whose main modules include Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Base, and Math. It uses OpenDocument formats and can work with many Microsoft Office file formats, making it suitable for documents, spreadsheets, presentations, diagrams, databases, and formulas.

Before choosing LibreOffice
Complex layouts, fonts, macros, or formulas may not transfer identically between file formats. Verify important documents after opening or saving them in a different format.
