What FreeCAD does.
FreeCAD is a free, open-source parametric 3D modeller designed primarily for engineering and product design. Its workbenches support parts, assemblies, technical drawings, BIM and 3D-printing workflows, while the model history makes dimensions and constraints editable later.
How the installation route works.
InstallHub can start the exact Windows Package Manager package FreeCAD.FreeCAD. You initiate the action, and the normal installer and Windows elevation prompts remain visible.
InstallHub does not replace the publisher’s installer.
You still review the publisher’s licence, component choices, system requirements and any available free, trial or paid edition.
